I served as Executive Director of Social Media Week London from 2013-2016, leading the 2014 and 2015 editions. (I was also the Conference Director of Social Media Week Milan for the 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 editions.)

Social Media Week operated as a prominent media platform and worldwide event with local presence across five continents: Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia.

My responsibilities included building the local team and overseeing curation, strategy, programming, marketing, sponsorships, partnerships and operations. During the event, I hosted selected keynotes and panels.

The event attracted thousands of visitors from the UK and abroad, featuring speakers from numerous companies including BuzzFeed, Nokia, Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Frog Design, leading advertising agencies like Ogilvy and Publicis, emerging startups and pioneers in the Internet of Things, virtual reality and other innovative fields.

I secured Victoria House, previously unused for conferences, and transformed it into multiple functional spaces: a main conference hall, masterclass area, demo room and an expansive networking and coffee break lounge.
